The inaugural opening of the għonnella TRACtion exhibition on Thursday, May 2nd, was an outstanding event. The principal investigator and curator of the exhibition was University of Malta senior lecturer Dr. Lorraine Portelli.

Commencing with a reception, the evening progressed with a speech delivered by Dr. Portelli, who warmly welcomed the guests and provided insights into the project. Professor Colin Calleja, the dean of the Faculty of Education, also highlighted the significance of the project. Subsequently, guests were welcomed to visit the exhibition rooms, providing an opportunity for attendees to examine the exhibits and delve into the captivating narratives accompanying each display.

A note of sincere gratitude is extended to Dr. Zoi Arvantidou, Ms. Maryanne Falzon, Ms. Doreen Schembri and Ms. Nicole Vella for their invaluable help in organising the exhibition.
