Għonnella University Campus event unfolded on the campus, offering a unique experience for University students and staff. During this event, these students had the opportunity to wear the Għonnella, and proudly roam around the University campus while dressed in this cultural attire.

It aimed to educate individuals about the Maltese traditional costume, emphasising its cultural and historical significance. This event sought to revive interest in and appreciation for this traditional attire. It highlighted the importance of preserving and celebrating cultural heritage in the present day, as a living and dynamic part of contemporary society.
