On the 17th of May 2023, Dr. Zoi Arvanitidou presented an overview of the EU-Funded TRACtion Project (Grant Agreement number: 101099726 – TRACtion — CREA-CULT-2022-COOP) at the University of Malta Research Expo 2023. TRACtion intends to stimulate young people to become aware of and appreciate their garment heritage and recreate it according to their contemporary aesthetic preferences. It will revive, innovate and digitalise three traditional European costumes and simultaneously educate participants on their historical, creative, cultural, environmental, and economic aspects. The participants at the session were very keen on the project and wanted to learn more about its actions and activities.
