Dr Lorraine Portelli and Dr Zoi Arvanitidou carried out a field trip to Gozo to collect life histories and memories of older adults for the EU-funded project TRACtion. The interviewees shared their memories with the researchers, especially on the social and historical importance of local dress. The researchers also visited various locations and museums, including the Gran Castello Historic House, to obtain useful information on the use of the Għonnella in Gozo. Further research on the topic will be conducted in the coming months.
