Mari Kosunen from the University of Helsinki TRACTion Team interviewed Lauri Greis at Aalto University about his Karelian Sportslore BA collection. Lauri’s Karelian Sportslore collection combines elements from the Karelian national costume with modern sportswear. In the interview, Lauri talked about his design process and inspiration behind the collection, which was also a tribute to his grandmother. The Karelian national costume from Antrea of which the inspiration came, was the costume of his grandmother.
