On Friday evening, March 15th, the University of Malta TRACtion team was invited to exhibit the Maltese traditional costume, the Għonnella, at an event called ‘Around the Globe,’ organized by St. Thomas More College Middle and Secondary School in Zejtun.

During this multicultural event, several stands highlighted traditional costumes and food to celebrate diversity, unity, and global connections. Some lucky students and attendees had the opportunity to wear the famous Għonnella and capture memorable photos with this iconic attire.

Numerous attendees expressed interest in the traditional costume and received additional information about it. Commemorative bookmarks were distributed to those who visited the stand.
